This series consists of memoranda, correspondence, news clippings, copies of speeches and reports. The records relate to the annual meetings of the Commission on the Status of Women and the women who represented the United States on the Commission, Judge Dorothy Kenyon, Lorena B. Hahn and Olive R. Goldman. The records include biographical data on each of the delegates, copies of speeches given by them as well as news clippings relating to the speeches. Also included are records relating to Senator Joseph McCarthy's accusation in 1950 of Judge Kenyon having pro-Communist sympathies.
